Dear Mrs. Lali and Mr. 息子さんの名前

It is with great sorrow that we have heard the sad news of the untimely passing of a great Maestro Anzor Erkomaishvili, Founder of the Georgian National Dance & Song Ensemble “Rustavi.” The death of the great maestro is a deep sorrow for all choral music lovers and a great loss of the music world. On behalf of the Min-On Concert Association, I tender deepest sympathy and condolences to you and the member of “Rustavi.”

It was our great honor to host the Japan tour of the Georgian National Dance & Song Ensemble “Rustavi” in 2018 presenting their splendid performance in 20 different cities across Japan. The Japan tour of “Rustavi” had made a great contribution towards the enhancement of friendly cultural exchange between Georgia and Japan which commemorate the centennial of Georgia as well as the golden anniversary of Ensemble and the 55th anniversary of Min-On.

Japanese people who saw the performance of “Rustavi” were very much impressed by the message for peace which was delivered by Maestro Anzor through the performance by “Rustavi,” and we highly respect his great achievements and contributions towards the peace of the world through music and culture which we would like to succeed his will to the future.

In this tough time, we fully understand how hard it must be for you and your family, but succeeding Maestro’s will, please give the successor of “Rustavi” and many people in the world with smile through the arts which Maestro Anzor created.

Lastly, please allow me to share with you the wonderful words which Maestro Anzor taught us during the Japan tour “ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA.”

Rest in peace, Maestro Anzor Erkomaishvili!

Regards,

Kazuto Ito
