Ensemble ‘Rustavi’ Administration Press Release, May 19th, 2011

23rd of May – Georgian Concert at Dr Anton Philipszaal /Lucent Danstheater, the Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of Georgia, the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with the support of the First Lady of Georgia Mrs. Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs, is organizing Georgian Culture Days on 23-26 May, 2011.

One of the highlights of the Georgian Days is the Georgian Concert. The event will be hosted by one of the most prestigious concert halls ‘Lucent Danstheatre’ (www.ldt.nl) in the Hague.  One of the best Georgian folk music and dance ensembles ‘Rustavi’ (www.ensemblerustavi.com/eng/) will be demonstrating their elaborate choreography, excellent costumes, and brilliant performance. Alongside the Georgian dance, the audience will also be offered a great opportunity to listen to music performed by Nino Gvetadze (www.ninogvetadze.com), a very famous and popular Georgian pianist living in the Netherlands.
